What is BHi?

Ball Hockey International is a provider of OUTDOOR BALL HOCKEY FUN in a fair and safe facility.


How big is the rink?

The rinks are 80' by 160' about 2/3's of an ice hockey pad.


What kind of surface do you play on?

The surface is a modular plastic which provides a cushioning effect when compared to concrete or asphalt.


Do you play rain or shine?

Yes we play rain or shine. In case of lightning their is a policy where games can be suspended till clear or re-scheduled.


How old do you have to be to play?

We have players as young as 4 up to 54 years old. The age groups are 4 to 6, 7 to 9, 10 to 12, 13 to 15 and 16 to 18 for youth. Adult leagues consist of A, B, C, D, E CO-ED and Ladies.


What if you have never played hockey?

Our youth leagues are of different skill levels from first timers to children who play triple A hockey. The adult divisions ranch from competetive (A) to recreation (E) depending upon the skill level of the players.


Do I enter my own team or as an individual?

Youth sign up as individuals and are placed on a team following guidelines using expeirence and skill level to make the teams as fair as possible.
Adults can enter as a team in a division best suited to your skill level, or contact the location nearest you for more information about signing up as an individual or group.


What seasons do you play?

Their are four sesasons to choose from Spring (March to May), Summer (June to August), Fall (September to November) and Winter (December to February).


What equipment do I need?

Youth divisions must have helmet with full face shield, elbow pads, hockey gloves, and shin pads that cover the knee to the ankle. Adults must wear hockey gloves, BHi recommends shin pads. Sticks can not have wooden blades.
